Who we are.....

Welcome to St. Paul's United Methodist Church.  We thank you for your interest and we look forward to meeting you real soon. Here at St. Paul's you will find a friendly come as you are congregation united in faith in Jesus Christ supporting one another in witnessing and worshipping God.  We strive to be a force for good and a visible presence signifying the love of God to the communitty. We strive to welcome ALL to our Worship and Fellowship.

What to expect when you visit.....

Dress tends to be casual come as you are and worship lasts about an hour.  There will be coffee, tea and water available before, during and after our service in the fellowship hall.  All children are always welcome in our worship services but we do offer a attended nurseery for children 3 and under as well as Sunday School (after quilt time) for children K - 5th grades if you choose.

We take up two offerings weekly during our worship services. One after quilt time for mission work and the main offering for other operations of the church.  If you are a guest please do not feel obligated to give, our service is a gift to you.

Holy Communion is served on the first Sunday of each month and all are welcome to partake.  "Because the table at which we gather belongs to the Lord, it should be open to all who respond to Christ's love, regardless of age or church membership. The Wesleyan tradition has always recognized that Holy Communion may be an occasion for the reception of converting, justifying, and sanctifying grace."

How we share our gifts.....

St. Paul’s is dedicated to mission and outreach. We have The Lawton Community Garden which provides food to local familes and food pantries.   Through volunteers we are able maintain the garden and supply the community.  Volunteers are currently working at 9 am on Wednesdays to maintain the garden.

November thru March St. Pauls has our Free Store every Wednesday Evening to offer free coats, hats, boots, scarves, mittens and socks to people in need during the cold winter months.

St. Paul's Angel Tree Program brings Christmas to those in need.  Through generous donations from members, local business, and our many volunteers we provide gifts and food to local families.  Last year we served  70 individuals.

On the fourth Saturday of each month 8 volunteers from St. Paul's volunteer at Community Thrift Shop in Paw Paw.  A first class second hand store dedicated  to helping connect the community, restore the economy and preserve the environment.

Additional outreach  is through our St. Paul’s groups as well as the use of our building by outside community groups to include Local Boy Scout Troops and The Van Burren County Seniors.
